I'd have it over a Merc or BMW. Real pity about that very nasty dent , makes you wonder about hired hands, either careless or worse. In future ask the the car transporter guy to send pictures of the vehicle BEFORE he loads it. It's that much harder to negotiate once you have taken possession of it. Sam said that fifty percent of his issues remain unresolved.

The car is superb, a close acquaintance has a perfect example ... But it looked like a Passat and still does hence it failed as Sam alludes to. Indeed, the same story as the Peugeot 607 which was a superb beast, but it looked way too much like a Pug 406 rep mobile, so it totally failed and perfect examples could be bought for loose change at the trade only auctions. Depends if you want a superb car or to impress the neighbours ... My DS23 still serves me as a daily driver and wonderful it is.

The only reason Copart refunded you anything is because you are a public figure with a platform, I bought a 2008 MB CLK with 30kmi 3yrs ago it was advertised as clean title but when i got the documents it was only a bill of sale, I quickly called Copart to inform them and they gave me the run around and said that there was nothing they could do as the car was listed under bill of sale (BS!) I went back to look at the auction and from the time i had looked at the listing to when i spoke with the agent, the listing had been updated to Bill of sale; That was some BS and i will never buy from them again.

Copart sucks and terrible. I stop buying cars from them cuz they are scums. They let dealers sell fake damage cars and hide airbag damage so people will bid more money. And when the cars come they always never look as the pics. They are low life only care about how can they make more money and how much more fees they can charge it’s crazy. It cost almost 1k just fees for a normal car that’s worth less then 20k. The funny thing is that the cars come not taking care. They let other countries bid on the cars and the prices go up so bad that it’s not even worth buying them from Copart anymore. IAAI doesn’t let other countries bid on the auction only America. I give respect to IaaI. They only have insurance cars with no fake dealers or fake damages. Keys are always ther. Not like Copart. They always missing. They take the keys and resell them on eBay. IAAI always has two keys not like Copart they always take the second key specially expensive cars. Also Copart keys are missing and spares. They take it and resell them. Iaai is the best period. They only help u cuz u are a blogger. If u were regular guy they would never give refund or fix the problem even if they made the mistaken. Never buy cars from Copart
