Today we repair the suspension, brakes, paint, body, and lighting of the Salvage Flood Totaled E46 BMW M3 . It's a nice gamble that paid off and it looks awesome! It will be finished way before Rich Rebuild's finishes his Flood Salvage Tesla!

Sam , couple of thoughts generally. First your life would be much easier if you installed a twin post above ground lift. You can get them used for very little and installation is easy. Second as an old BMW hand these cars are very responsive to proper alignment. Night and day. With the aforementioned lift you can get a used electronic alignment system and in 45 minutes really dial them in. Cheers

Hi Sam. I have HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!! Read plz I have a bmw 328i. Also e46.. Awesomen car, and had the same problem than yours, the problem started right after i instaled a aftermarket sound system... I then realised that the problem began to occure. Changed the batery terminals and my problem is solved until this day! ¦! 🤝🏻 🤝🏻!!!!!!!!!

The tires look nice on that car I think better than the black one. you can leave them on there delivery. You really look like you enjoyed working on that, not that much stress. All in all the car looks really nice.

I recently moved from Ohio to Wyoming and had to leave my mystic blue metallic 2005 M3. Watching your videos makes me realize how much I miss that car and cannot wait to get it out here. Going to have to wait until spring due to the bad winters and a different housing situation so I'll have somewhere to put it (took my blue Jeep TJ 2-dr with me). the led taillights are far better and better looking than the ones you put in it also the cold air you took out flows much better than the oem the filter fell off because the clamp was lose also the black on the hood flows with the black on the roof and now the black roof is out of place you ruined the look

12:08 Look man, I am impressed with the overall speed and quality of this rebuild, but could you not have put some more red paint down on the underside of the hood? Minimal cost (you were already painting it) for something that wouldn't haunt the next owner every time they open the hood.

I may of missed some vids on this, but did he do a thorough inspection of the rear subframe mounts. It's the biggest issue effecting the E46 M3 AFAIK. May be a more euro problem though with a damp climate.

Why no mention of BC Racing as the manufacturer of the coilovers? As some others said, the camber plates are installed incorrectly. I think you should lower it abut a 1/2 inch.

its almost done, so you know what that means! It will now sit in the grass for a few years, produce a lot of rich rebuilds jokes, and then gets finished by Vtuned. Also, sam buys a few more project cars.

holy crap, 7:39 into the video, 3rd commercial interruption. bearing in mind that there was a 2+ minute in video commercial for a home security system in the first 4 minutes. this is bordering on unwatchable.

@samcrac 2 things. You have installed your coilovers incorrectly. The plates are supposed to slide horizontally. You also bought the wrong coilover setup. Your camber plates are meant to be offset as the M3 run higher caster angle. You bought the ones for standard E46. Your alignment wont be right now. Get BC to send you out the correct camber plates.

While I agree that gunmetal wheels would probably look better, the difference would be really, really marginal. So stick with the bronze, I say!
