I had run flats split like that from a little bump in the road! In fact 8 tire flats in 6 months with run flats! After that I got rid of them and haven't had a problem since.

So the F02 active hybrid7 is a boosting system. It came with the twin turbo v8 (n63 yes the one with valve seal issues) and a small electric engine which during accel would boost it. The battery is in the trunk. I've never swapped one out, but honestly I've had the trunk apart to just short of that and it's the smallest hybrid batt I've seen so wouldn't be hard to swap if you can find it at a decent price

Yep!...they ARE going cheap but I wouldn't buy one. Why> because it costs an arm and a leg to repair then when something goes wrong and NOT every garage has the proper tools to repair them. I know this because my son worked for a BMW dealership - he also worked at the Mercedes manufacturing plant in Alabama and said he wouldn't buy one of those used either. Brand new!...he said BOTH vehicles are really sweet HOWEVER, when repair time comes around - usually on used ones - they really drill a hole in your pocket. Even used they really look and drive sweet. My roommate drives a Mercedes 740 - seems like he's always fixing something. It's usually parked at home more than he drives it. Right now the heat is not working and it's getting colder so guess what...he bums a ride to work If you can get a good deal on a used one...go for it If you have $$ to waste on repairs...then go for it. The choice is YOURS.
